The following facilities are for the use of all residents. For each facility there are certain rules and regulations for the safe and pleasant use of all.
Baxter Club: The party room is open to all from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm each and every day unless booked for a private function. There are comfortable chairs and tables, a TV with DVD player, a pool table, a dart board and a full kitchen to cater for meals. Residents can book this room for a private function up to 2 times a year. For greater details, including rules and photos, click here.
Exercise/Steam Room: The exercise and steam room is open to all residents 5:00 am – midnight. The equipment is diversified enough to meet most people’s needs. Proper attire must be worn at all times and the use of equipment is at residents’ risk. For details and posted rules, click here.
BBQ Deck: The 9th floor terrace has two BBQ’s for the use of all residents. This area is open, weather permitting, all year round, from 8:00 am – 11:00 pm. The deck provides excellent seating and tables for your personal eating enjoyment. Once a year the social committee plans a Baxter BBQ in the summer, where all friends meet and socialize. Refuse/Recycle Room: Disposing of your garbage and recycling material is easy and “green”. For regular household garbage, plastic bag it and use the chute next to the elevator. For recycling, use the recycling room off the lobby. We also encourage dropping off LCBO and Beer Store returns which will be returned by a volunteer and the funds deposited into a Baxter Residents’ account. Bicycle Storage: Limited bicycle storage is available on an “as available basis” on the P1 Parking Level. Click here for further details.
Hobby Room: Located in the hallway to parking level P1, the hobby room is a great location to do any small jobs, repairs or wash your golf clubs. It includes work benches and a laundry tub for cleaning up. The concierge has the key and it is for your use between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm seven days a week. Click here for photos and posted rules.
