Residents must take all recycling materials down to the Recycle Room just off the lobby. Please read the recycling info posted on the wall to determine where to place your items. With few exceptions, most of your recycling will go in the large blue bins.
- Cardboard needs to be tied into manageable bundles and twine and a box cutter are provided.
- Batteries are to be placed in the special container by the wall.
- LCBO and Beer Store returns are to be placed in the boxes provided on the floor. They will be returned by a volunteer and the funds deposited into a Baxter Residents’ account.
Bulk items and hazardous materials can not be disposed of through the recycling room. Residents must make their own arrangements to have them taken to the Halton Waste Management site on Bronte Road. Once a year (Spring), management arranges delivery of a large bin for the pick up of bulk items.
